【Regarding operation plans for the Tohoku and Yamagata Shinkansen】

Due to a vehicle malfunction involving the E8 series that occurred on Tuesday, June 17, on the Tōhoku and Yamagata Shinkansen lines, the Yamagata Shinkansen will operate on a turnaround schedule at Fukushima Station toward Yamagata and Shinjō Stations for the time being, except for some direct trains..As a result, passengers planning to use the Yamagata Shinkansen will need to transfer at Fukushima Station.

In addition, some Tohoku and Yamagata Shinkansen trains will be suspended or have their destinations changed.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our passengers.

6월 17일(화)에 발생한 도호쿠 신칸센 및 야마가타 신칸센 내 E8계 차량 고장의 영향으로, 당분간 야마가타 신칸센은 일부 직통 열차를 제외하고 후쿠시마역에서 야마가타・신조역 방면으로 회차 운행을 실시합니다.
