Creating a Vibrant Society
To enrich the lifestyles of all people, we will provide convenient, comfortable, and high-quality services and work together with local communities to create vibrant and attractive towns that are integrated with railways.
Basic Concept
Creating a vibrant society, even in the face of a declining population, is the mission of the JR East Group, which provides regional mobility and
operates businesses with close ties to local communities. In rural areas, we will increase the number of visitors and revitalize regional economies
through companionable regional revitalization using the Group network. In cities, we will promote the creation of comfortable cities filled with new
appeal by linking various services offered by the Group and transforming Suica into a lifestyle device.
Moreover, in order to realize an inclusive society where everyone can live comfortably, we will promote barrier-free access from both tangible
and intangible perspectives in order to strengthen the prosperity of local communities and deepen trust from local citizens.
