*Green Cars are available on local (Rapid) , including the Tōkaidō Line, Yokosuka Line, Chūō Line (Rapid), Ōme Line, Takasaki Line, Utsunomiya Line, Jōban Line, Sōbu Line (Rapid), Shōnan-Shinjuku Line and Ueno-Tōkyō Line. Green Car service is not available on some trains.

At the station, tap your Welcome Suica Mobile at the ticket gate, then board your train.
Once on board, tap the app on the reader above an available seat.

Select the line, departure and arrival stations, and the date and time of travel to find a train.

Select the train and seating class.
STEP 5
Sign up for JR-EAST
Train Reservation (or log in).
STEP 6
Check your reservation details,
then purchase with a credit card.
STEP 7
On the date of travel, tap Welcome Suica Mobile on ticket gate and sit in your reserved seat.
Seating details are available in your Apple Wallet app or reservation confirmation email.
