The Gono Line "Resort Shirakami" runs through the World Natural Heritage Shirakami Mountains and the scenic Sea of Japan.
Superb view and gourmet
You can use a mobile order service that allows you to reserve and pay for products from delicious shops along the line in advance and pick them up at the station platform on the day of boarding.

Observatory/event space
The observatory installed in cars 1 and 4 is an event space that creates an extraordinary space with crafts and symbol trees from Akita and Aomori prefectures such as beech and Akita woodwork.

The gorgeous warm-colored seats are designed with the image of a summer festival in the Tohoku region.

Box seats
Box seats with a bright image have a better view than before, creating a space with a more open feeling. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. It is also equipped with beechwood lighting, providing a sense of warmth and comfort.

Tickets & Reservations
ご乗車には乗車券（またはPASS）に加え、指定席券が必要です。
Resort Shirakami is a train with all reserved seat. In addition to a boarding ticket, you will need seat ticket.

オンラインでの新規購入方法

JR-EAST Train Reservation別ウィンドウで開きますへアクセスし、「Purchase tickets」をクリックします。

Ride Joyful Trainsの「Joyful Trains」をクリックします。

乗りたい列車を選択します。

選択した列車の車両・座席タイプ（グリーン車、ボックス席等）、および路線を選択します。

「Reserve Now」をクリックして予約詳細へと進みます。

乗車したい日付、乗車駅、降車駅、乗車する大人、子どもの人数を入力して「Reserve Now」クリックします。

乗車可能な列車の時間帯を選択して、乗りたい列車があればその列車のラジオボタンを選択。「Select」をクリックします。
他の時間帯を選びたい場合は、「Previous train」または「Next train」のどちらかを選択することで、前後の時間帯の列車を表示できます。

購入内容を確認し、問題がなければ、「Buy Tickets」をクリックして購入画面へ進んでください。

購入へ進むためには「JR EAST Train Reservation」の会員登録が必要となります。

If you are using a JR EAST rail pass such as the JAPAN RAIL PASS or JR EAST PASS within the free area, you can reserve reserved seat without paying an additional fee.
Please reserve reserved seat (free of charge) at the ticket office or online.

2. 指定席券の予約方法（すでにパスを保持している方）
JARAN RAIL PASSやJR EAST PASS等の、JR東日本の鉄道パスをお持ちの方は、指定席券のご予約のみでご乗車いただけます。
Seat reservations are available from 10:00 one month before the departure date at the ticket offices (Midori-no-Madoguchi) or reserved seat ticket vending machine of key stations, or from the JR-East Train Reservation website別ウィンドウで開きます. (*Reserved seat ticket vending machines open at 10:10 a.m.)
