Matsushima Bay is known as one of the three most famous views of Japan. Take a tour around Matsushima Bay on a large sightseeing boat and see the 260 plus islands decorating the bay. There are also many famous sightseeing spots, such as Zuiganji Temple and Godaido Temple, both closely related to Masamune Date, and plenty of places to savor local delicacies such as oysters and beef tongue skewers. The first day's highlights include the Okama, a circular crater lake symbolic of the Zao Mountains. The lake is also known as the Goshikinuma, the five-color lake with a mysterious natural beauty, as the surface of the lake changes color depending on the weather and other factors. Enjoy a stay in Togatta Onsen, which overlooks the breathtaking backdrop of the Zao Mountains. The second day includes a visit to a unique zoo where more than 100 foxes live free-range in the wilderness, and JR Fruit Park Sendai Arahama, a tourist farm where you can pick seasonal fruits throughout the year. Enjoy a trip filled with nature and plenty of activities.
