* | The Brunel Awards Competition is the only international railway design competition in the world. It was established by the Watford Group, which brings together railway design professionals from about 20 countries. The awards are named after Isambard Kingdom Brunel, first head engineer of the Great Western Railway. He left behind a body of work that includes excellent stations, other buildings and ships. |
