Guidelines
JR East has established green procurement guidelines to guide our initiatives for sustainable procurement. We ask for all business partners' understanding and cooperation with the following policies.

- Definition of Terms
- Terms in these guidelines are defined in accordance with JISQ14001 and ISO14001.
- Scope of application
- These guidelines apply to the procurement activities of JR East, and business partners will be selected according to their progress in these initiatives.
- Checking of status of initiatives
- Business partners' progress on initiatives related to these guidelines will be checked by means such as our Questionnaire on Sustainable Procurement and site visits.
- *These guidelines may be revised when necessary due to changes in social situations, advances in technology or new knowledge. Business partners will be notified about any revisions.
