Regarding transaction requests from new companies about construction and other work for JR East

When a company wishes to enter into a transaction with JR East, for construction or other associated work (i.e. the actual construction work, design, and/or other related services), we request that the company provides data such as corporate information and fields of construction licenses for the period specified by JR East for prior confirmation.

Prerequisites for applications

Applicants are required to possess a construction license from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, or a prefectural governor.

Application method and related matters

• 1.The language used in transactions with JR East is Japanese.
• 2.Applications and data may be submitted for two categories of work: (1) construction work and (2) other associated work. When applying, please refer to the lists of construction work and other associated work in the following link and fill in the application form on the website accordingly. Should you have any questions regarding your application, please send an e-mail to the contact above (Construction Dept., JR East Head Office).
• 3.Data provided by applicants to JR East will be solely used for contracting purposes between your company and JR East, and will be handled with the utmost care and confidentiality.

Companies that are already registered with JR East for construction or other associated work will be contacted separately with regard to their new applications.
