Azusa, Kaiji and FUJI EXCURSION

Azusa, Kaiji and FUJI EXCURSION

The Azusa and Kaiji run along the Chuo Main Line, departing from Shinjuku and returning from Matsumoto Station and Kofu Station.
Passengers can catch a view of Lake Sagami and watch the varying mountain landscapes of Mt. Fuji, Yatsugatake, and the Akaishi Mountains (also known as the Southern Alps) pass outside their windows on their way to Isawa Onsen, Matsumoto Castle, and other sightseeing destinations.
As of on March 16, 2019, service has opened for the FUJI EXCURSION, a Limited Express train which connects directly to the Fujikyuko Line. Passengers can enjoy easy access to the areas around Tokyo and Mt. Fuji.
