Nikko and Kinugawa (253 series/Tobu 100 series)
Shinjuku ⇔ Tōbu-nikkō Kinugawa-onsen
The Nikko and the Kinugawa are limited express trains providing service from central Tokyo to the World Heritage Site Nikko. Departing from Shinjuku, the trains stop at Ikebukuro and Omiya before transferring to Tobu Railway tracks, where they proceed to Tobu-nikko Station and Kinugawa- onsen Station. The cars on the Nikko and Kinugawa are painted to match those of Tobu Railway. On the other hand, the SPACIA Nikko and the SPACIA Kinugawa trains are operated by JR but use Tobu Railway cars.
