Pick-up Location

If you reserved your pass through a travel agency outside of Japan or through JR-EAST Train Reservationsite, you will need to pick up the pass at a ticket office or ticket vending machine after arriving in Japan.
This page explains where each type of pass can be picked up.

Passes and reserved seat ticket purchased using a pass can be picked up within their respective area of use.
Train tickets and seat tickets reserved through JR-EAST Train Reservation using linked rail passes can be picked up and purchased from reserved seat ticket vending machines in JR EAST area.

Passes cannot be picked up at JR Ticket Office（Midori-no-Madoguchi）(except at Narita Airport and Airport Terminal 2).
However, tickets reserved through JR-EAST Train Reservation or seat ticket using passes can also be picked up at JR Ticket Office（Midori-no-Madoguchi）.
To receive seat ticket using the pass, you will need the pass for each person.
