The Cranetarium, which always exhibits about 80 species of jellyfish, is popular. In particular, the ``Jellyfish Dream Theater'', a 5m diameter aquarium in which approximately 10,000 moon jellyfish swim, is soothing just by looking at it. There are various events and experiences.

Kamo Aquarium

Inside the museum, there is also a jellyfish cultivation center where you can observe the growth process of jellyfish, panels to learn about Shonai fish, and a corner where you can learn about food culture.

Shop Naminohana, located in the entrance hall, is a stall-style snack shop. Enjoy jellyfish soft serve ice cream, which can only be found at a jellyfish aquarium.

While looking at the scenic spot Kakubuen
Take a break at “Honma Art Museum”

Honma Art Museum

The Honma Art Museum was founded by the Honma family, a wealthy merchant who was famous throughout the country, and opened in 1948. The exhibits range from ancient art to modern art, and the history of Sakata, which prospered due to the Kitamaebune fleet, is remembered, including historical documents and gifts from feudal lords. You can also enjoy the enchanting beauty of the garden and the tasteful architecture.

The pond strolling garden built in 1813 is a nationally designated scenic spot. It was named ``Kakubuen'' by the feudal lord, Marquis Sakai, because of the cranes that descended on the island in the middle of the pond. You will be enchanted by the seasonal atmosphere created by the white azaleas in early summer and the autumn leaves in autumn.

Seienkaku Seienkaku Matcha and sweets set

Seienkaku, located within the park and full of Taisho romance, also has a tea room with a lot of atmosphere. Enjoying the original coffee, matcha and sweets set while looking out at Kakubuen is something special.
