Here are some recommended spots along the B.B.BASE route.
B.B.BASE GATE
The boarding platforms are at the back side of the station. B.B.BASE departs from Ryogoku Station's rarely used Track 3. The dedicated entrance is on the north side of the station. When you arrive at Ryogoku Station, take the west exit at the roundabout then follow the right hand passage. Look for the guide on the road that indicates the direction to the entrance.
B.B.BASE Bicycle Station
You don't have to own a bike to ride the B.B.BASE! Sports bike rentals are available at Ryogoku Station. With our staff’s detailed explanations, even beginners will feel at ease.

Ryogoku Edo NOREN (Sumo-themed food hall)
“Enjoying sophisticated Edo cuisine ” is the theme for this cluster of charming Japanese restaurants. The atrium of the historic former Ryogoku Station resembles an Edo machiya (merchant’s house). The full-scale sumo wrestling ring in the center of the building is a must-see!

Beck's Coffee Shop Ryogoku
With bike racks outside the store, this is the only Beck's Coffee Shop that specially caters to cyclists.

Train Details
With plenty of space for you, your companions, and your bicycle, the train car is a comfortable mobile base for cycling.

Car interior
Take your bicycle onboard and mount it on the bicycle rack, no disassembly required.
Simply get onboard with your bike and place it on the bike rack.
Traveling with a bike has never been easier or more fun.
Equipped with plenty of space for you and your gear.
Each six-car train has 99 seats.
The interior is expansive enough that getting around is easy even with your favorite gear.
A slip-resistant rubber floor
The train floors are covered with textured rubber so that cycling shoes do not slip.

The tables have outlets.
Convenient for charging your mobile device, bicycle light, or other devices.
Bike rack
The bike rack keeps your bicycle safe and secure until you reach your destination.
Mounting your bike - Step 1
Pull the hook to pull out the guide frame.
*Note: For smaller bicycles, pull the guide frame out only to the first extension.
Mounting your bike - Step 2
Place the front wheel on the guide frame and make sure the front wheel and the back wheel are in their holding slots.
Mounting your bike - Step 3
Secure your bicycle frame with the belt.
Bicycles that can be mounted
Prohibited: Bicycles with a front or back wheel mudguard, a kickstand enclosing the back tire, a block pattern tire, or more than two wheels may not be brought onto the train. Some bicycles, such as folding or customized bicycles, may not be mountable due to shape.

BOSO JINJA RIDE STAMP RALLY
BOSO JINJA RIDE STAMP RALLY
Overview
Participants bike to the 11 designated shrines and place a stamp from each shrine on their special stamp rally paper. Participants that collect stamps from all the shrines will receive a certificate of completion and a commemorative sticker as mementos of their cycle pilgrimage.

Stamp Rally Instructions
1. Obtain the special stamp rally paper that is distributed at the facilities and ★-marked shrines in the area.
*Awa-Kamogawa Station, Tateyama Station, Katsuura Station, Heguri Clubhouse

2. Visit and get a stamp at each designated shrine.
↓
3. Once you have collected all the stamps, you can get a certificate of completion and a commemorative sticker at the shrines marked with a ★!

Sotobo Cycling Supporters (SCS)
Welcoming cyclists in the Sotobo area!
Overview
The Sotobo Cycling Supporters (SCS, Sotokuru) set up and maintain Cycle Aid Stations, helping to create a cycling-friendly environment.
Participating facilities are marked by blue streamers and wooden racks.
The entire community supports cyclists, so please stop by when you are cycling in the Sotobo area.
Model Course (Japanese only)
Boso, with its mild climate, is a popular area for cyclists.
Enjoy the coastal and mountainous scenery while cycling and go sightseeing in the historic towns and villages. If you get hungry, try the local cuisine.
Take a day trip, stay overnight, or set out on a unique bicycle adventure of your choosing.

- Seat reservations are available from 10:00 one month before the departure date at the ticket offices (Midori-no-Madoguchi) or reserved seat ticket vending machine of key stations, or from the JR-East Train Reservation website. (*Reserved seat ticket vending machines open at 10:10 a.m.)
- If you use a JR East Rail Pass such as JR EAST PASS, you can make a seat reservation without paying an additional fee. Please make a seat reservation (free of charge) at the place of sale.

Please arrive at the meeting spot (see below★) at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
Staff will assist you with admission to the station.

Kururi Line Saikuru Train passengers

・When purchasing a reserved seat ticket through Eki-net or a reserved seat ticket vending machine, please select the "B.B.BASE Mt. Kano (Kururi)" train, destination Kisarazu Station.
The reserved seat ticket will show "BBB Mt. Kano Kururi" for the train name and "Boarding Station→Kisarazu" for the itinerary.
*If you select "B.B.BASE Mt. Kano" at the time of purchase, you will not be able to board the "Saikuru Train." - ・Suica and other transportation system IC cards cannot be used on the Kururi Line. Please purchase a train ticket from the boarding station to Kururi Station in advance.

Terms and Conditions of Use
1. About B.B.BASE
- ・On B.B.BASE bicycles do not need to be disassembled (folding bicycles do not need to be folded) and can be mounted on the onboard bike rack.
- ・It is the customer's responsibility to ensure bicycles are mounted securely and in accordance with the instruction manual.
- ・The bicycle rack has a limited capacity.
- ・JR is not responsible for any damage caused by mounting bicycles on the bike racks.
- ・Mounting the bicycles may take time, so please arrive early.
- ・When boarding or disembarking from B.B.BASE, please mount and remove your bicycle from the bike rack as quickly as possible.
- ・JR is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, theft, loss, misplacement, or damages that occur during the trip.
- ・Please obey all traffic rules when cycling and ride at your own risk.
- ・Please refrain from cycling after consuming alcohol.
- ・Please take care of your bicycle and baggage by yourself. We recommend that you purchase domestic travel insurance and insurance for personal belongings, in case of emergency.
- We recommend that you wear a helmet and gloves for safety, and bring an air pump, spare tube, and tools, in case of a flat tire.
- ・Please use the West Exit at Ryogoku Station.
- ・For safety reasons, please refrain from servicing bicycles while onboard the train.
- ・Please bring a bicycle bag even if riding on B.B.BASE.
- ・Due to the shaking motion of the train cars, please refrain from assembling bicycles onboard.
- ・Please do not ride your bicycle in the station, on the platform, or on the train.
2. About the bike racks
- ・Be careful not to pinch your hands or fingers when using the bike rack.
- ・The rear wheel, including the stand attached to the bicycle, should be in a suspended position.
- ・Bicycles with mudguards on the front and rear wheels, kickstands enclosing the rear wheel, block pattern tires, and bicycles with more than two wheels cannot be mounted on the bike rack. Some bicycles, such as folding or customized bicycles, may not be mountable due to shape.

- ・Passengers are expected to carry their bicycle themselves, including up and down stairs.

3. About bringing your bicycle on the train (*)
B.B.BASE以外のJRをご利用の際は、自転車を解体して(折りたたみ自転車は折りたたんで)専用の袋に完全に収納した状態でご乗車ください。縦、横、高さの合計が250㎝(長さ2mまで)以内、重さ30㎏以内の物を2個まで持ち込むことができます。他のお客さまにご迷惑をおかけする恐れのある場合や、列車の混雑状況により持ち込みをお断りする場合があります。詳しくはJR東日本HP内の「旅客営業規則 第10章第308条 無料手回り品(日本語のみ)for more information. When using other public transportation, please contact each agency directly.
*Traveling with one’s bicycle on the train typically involves disassembling and placing the bicycle in a bicycle bag.
