히타치 / 도키와 (E657계)

Two trains run on the Joban Line, the HITACHI which mainly runs between Shinagawa and Sendai, and the TOKIWA which mainly runs between Shinagawa and Katsuta. The E657 series of trains, currently operating on the route, is designed to evoke an image of the white and red ume blossoms found at Kairaku-en in Mito. The car body is a pink-hued white color with a dark pink line running under the windows on the side.
