The Gono Line "Resort Shirakami" runs through the World Natural Heritage Shirakami Mountains and the scenic Sea of Japan.

Superb view and gourmet

You can use a mobile order service that allows you to reserve and pay for products from delicious shops along the line in advance and pick them up at the station platform on the day of boarding.

Observatory/event space

The observatory installed in cars 1 and 4 is an event space that creates an extraordinary space with crafts and symbol trees from Akita and Aomori prefectures such as beech and Akita woodwork.

The gorgeous warm-colored seats are designed with the image of a summer festival in the Tohoku region.

Box seats

Box seats with a bright image have a better view than before, creating a space with a more open feeling. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. It is also equipped with beechwood lighting, providing a sense of warmth and comfort.

Tickets & Reservations

기차에 탑승하려면 지정석권과 승차권 (또는 패스)이 필요합니다.

Resort Shirakami is a train with all reserved seat. In addition to a boarding ticket, you will need seat ticket.

    1. JR 동일본 열차 예약 새로운 창에서 열림 에 접속하여 "Purchase tickets "를 누르세요.

    2. Ride Joyful Trains 섹션에서 “Joyful Trains ”를 누르세요.

    3. 탑승하고 싶은 기차를 선택하세요.

    4. 선택한 기차의 모델, 좌석 유형 (그린(일등)칸, 박스석), 경로를 선택하세요.

    5. "Reserve Now" 버튼을 눌러 예약 세부 정보로 이동하세요.

    6. 탑승을 원하시는 날짜와 출발역, 도착역, 그리고 탑승하는 성인과 어린이의 인원수를 입력하시고 "Reserve Now "을 누르세요.

    7. 이용 가능한 열차 시간에서 선택하고, 탑승하려는 열차 옆의 상자를 체크한 후 "Select "을 누르세요.

      다른 시간을 선택하려면「Previous train」 또는 「Next train」를 선택하여 현재 열차의 전후 열차 시간을 확인하세요.

    8. 구매 세부 사항을 확인하고, 모든 내용이 정확하면 "Buy Tickets "를 눌러 구매 화면으로 이동하세요.

    9. 구매하려면 JR 동일본 열차 예약 계정을 만들어야 합니다.

If you are using a JR EAST rail pass such as the JAPAN RAIL PASS or JR EAST PASS within the free area, you can reserve reserved seat without paying an additional fee.
