INTERVIEW

  • Question.01

What are you responsible for at work?

I'm charge in as a signal team construction supervisor in projects  such as renewal for ATOS for Nanbu Line. ATOS is a transport control system which can control train routes automatically fand can acquire real-time train's route information. In the construction of renewal of ATOS for Nanbu Line, we 're going to renew ATOS Network. I'm working as a supervisor in daily construction and preliminary confirmation tests to be able to reduce the risks during the switchover.

  • Question.02

What is the most rewarding/interesting part of your current job?

I was charge in signal design in the construction of  ATOS for Nanbu Line renewal before I was transferred to another department. Therefore, after I transferred I could watch the construction at there as a supervisor, I felt really rewarded when I was able to proceed with this project construction. Not limited to this construction, the moment when results of daily preparation for a system switchover that was conducted several years later can be seen gave me a huge sense of accomplishment and left a huge impression on me.

  • Question.03

Please tell us about the most memorable task you have done so far.

The most impressive work for me is relocating equipment for ATOS transport control center for  Jyōban line. This is because it was the first work that I was in charge of as a designer. I discussed construction method for the equipment with my team at first, and I work on adjustments and restrictions of the equipment with transport control dispatchers who are the users of the equipment, and also adjusted with the other design team and the many people involved. It was a big scale construction that had equipment switchover in 4 steps by everyday construction throughout a month, I cannot forget the moment the switchover finished and it left an impression on me.

  • Question.04

Please tell us about your dreams and visions for the future!

I want to grow up as a signal designer who obtains skills in the view of maintenance and construction which considers things in detail in the future. And I want to support the daily peace of mind of as many people as possible through my daily work.

  • Question.05

    Advice for job-hunting students!

I had studied mathematics at the University. Therefore, I learned about almost everything about  my job after I joined this company. After I joined the company, I think that although understanding my current knowledge is important,  it is more important to think about what I want to do. And I think that it is very useful for working members of the society  and students to look for things that you  can get into, to try to do many things and to broaden your horizons, after they join the company.
