Received the Minister of the Environment Award – Silver at the 5th ESG Finance Awards Japan
(Issuer category), hosted by the Ministry of the Environment
In February 2024, JR East received the Minister of the Environment Award – Silver at the 5th ESG Finance Awards Japan (Issuer category), hosted by the Ministry of the Environment.
The ESG Finance Awards Japan, organized by the Ministry of the Environment, recognizes and awards financial institutions and various organizations that are actively engaged in ESG finance, as well as companies committed to environmentally sustainable management, with the aim of further expanding ESG finance and enhancing its quality.
We will continue to actively promote ESG finance and contribute to its further expansion.
