Basic policy

The JR East Group, which engages with a large number of customers and local communities, regards environmental issues as a social challenge that must be addressed as a priority.
As a company, we are approaching these issues from multiple angles. At the same time, we are actively participating in domestic and international environmental initiatives and statements, working with other companies to advance climate-change measures and help build a sustainable society.
