JR-EAST Train Reservation

JR-EAST Train Reservation is a website for making ticket reservations for Eastern Japan. Starting June 27, 2021, the site will handle rail passes for both international residents and visitors, Shinkansen e-tickets, and other tickets in addition to reserved seat reservations. See our press release for more information.

Purchase a pass

Seat Reservation (Using a Pass)

On the top of the JR-EAST Train Reservation page, please select "Seat reservation."

A. "Search by Station": Choose this option when searching for a route by departure / arrival station.
B. "Search by Line": After specifying the line, choose this option when searching for a route by departure / arrival station.
C. "Joyful Trains": Choose this option when searching for Joyful Trains.

Purchase tickets

On the top of the JR-EAST Train Reservation page, please select "Purchase tickets."
