Designed with a completely new concept so that the train ride is a pleasure in itself, the TOHOKU EMOTION began operation on October 19, 2013. In addition to a plethora of attractions that include excellent design, art and panoramic views, the TOHOKU EMOTION is particularly known for its cuisine. The features of this "Tohoku Restaurant Railway" include an open kitchen where you can watch your food being prepared while you wait. While gazing at the sea off the Sanriku coast, enjoy the menu crafted from plentiful local Tohoku ingredients.
