POKÉMON with YOU Train
Service interval: Ichinoseki to Kesennuma Stations
Bringing smiles to Tohoku children in the region devastated by the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami of 2011 and wishing for great Tohoku travels for our friends throughout Japan, the POKÉMON with YOU Train will get a makeover for a new look starting July 15, 2017. The new car concept will be "parents and children having fun with Pikachu together." Enjoy a fun outing with the lively Pikachu.
*Online seat reservation will be available from Wednesday, September 5th, 2018 beginning at 5:30AM (JST)
Try your hand at being the conductor in the driver's cab or the engine room. Or play with the loads of gadgets and other fun things filling the area around the reclining Pikachu in the middle of the car.
Depictions of Pikachu are everywhere, including the backrests of the seats, the curtains and much more!
Tickets for the POKÉMON with YOU Train are not available for sale outside of Japan. There are multiple ways to purchase tickets as follows.
Note: Not all services are available on certain trains when boarding with a pass or a ticket.
