This is a request from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare regarding the New Coronavirus infection control measures.
Easing the congestion level in trains is an effective method to stop the spread of the virus. This is the reason why we our asking our customers to actively consider applying methods such as telework and commuting outside of the rush hour etc. Washing hands, disinfecting with alcohol and the coughing etiquette are the basic infection prevention methods. For this reason we are asking all our customer to cooperate by following these prevention methods within the station premises and inside the train.
