What is it?
The Suica & N’EX package is a convenient way to travel and shop in the Tokyo area. It includes a round-trip ticket between Narita Airport and the Tokyo/Yokohama area on the Narita Express train along with 1,500 yen preloaded on a Suica smart card to get you started. Suica & N’EX sets are also available with a one-way ticket from Narita Airport to the Tokyo/Yokohama area. The Suica & N’EX package is available only to foreign passport holders, and is a great choice for getting to know Japan a little bit better.
Round-trip tickets go on sale July 1, 2010.

Prices
The Suica & N'EX comes in two types, one-way and round-trip packages. The round-trip Suica & N’EX package is specially priced at 5,500 yen for Ordinary Cars and 8,000 yen for Green Cars (first class). One-way packages are also specially priced at 3,500 yen for Ordinary Cars and 5,000 yen for Green Cars.

Validity
Terms of Use
Round trips: The N’EX ticket is valid for two weeks.
One-way trips: The N’EX ticket is valid for one day.
- The Suica smart card comes preloaded with 1,500 yen. Suica can be recharged and reused an unlimited number of times. If not used for 10 years, the card becomes void.
The N'EX Train Ticket
All seats on the Narita Express require prior reservation. Advance reservation for the seat and travel interval are required.
Round trips
- Outward reserved seats are available for the Narita Express when purchasing a Suica & N’EX package.
- The special-value outward ticket can be used to board the Narita Express and travel to any JR East station in the Designated Tokyo Train Interval, the yellow area on the map. Riders may get off the train along the route as long as they do not exit from the ticket gate.
- Return reserved seats can be reserved in advance at designated seat ticket machines and JR Ticket Offices (Midori-no-madoguchi).
- The return ticket is valid for entry at any station within the yellow area on the map. When returning to Narita Airport Station on the Narita Express, riders may get off the train along the route as long as they do not exit from the ticket gate.
- If you miss your booked train, you cannot use the seats on a later limited express even if you have a Green Car ticket. In this case, please stand.
One-way trips
- Reserved seats are available for the Narita Express when purchasing the Suica & N’EX.
- The special-value one-way ticket can be used to board the Narita Express and travel to any JR East station in the Designated Tokyo Train Interval, the yellow area on the map. Riders may get off the train along the route as long as they do not exit from the ticket gate.

The Designated Tokyo Train Interval – the N'EX ticket is valid from Narita Airport to any JR East station within the colored area.
The Suica Card

- The Suica is a convenient way to shop and move around the Tokyo area. It is valid for purchasing transportation on the JR East train and subway lines as well as buses. It can also be used for onboard purchases as well as coin lockers and purchases at station shops.

Changes
- One reservation change is allowed. The change must be made before the booked train departs from the station where the Narita Express is boarded.
Refunds
Round trips: Refunds are available at the JR East Travel Service Centers located in Narita Airport Terminal 1 and 2 only if the N’EX return ticket and the Suica card are present, and the N’EX ticket is still valid. A service fee is charged for refunds.
One-way trips: Refunds are available at the JR East Travel Service Centers located in Narita Airport Terminal 1 and 2 only if the N’EX ticket and the Suica card are both unused, and the N’EX ticket is still valid. A service fee is charged for refunds.
- Refunds are available only for the N'EX and Suica as a set. Refunds are not available for the N'EX ticket portion alone.
- Refunds are made for canceled or delayed train service. Inquire a station staff or a train conductor at the station or onboard.
Notes
- You must hold a foreign passport to purchase a Suica & N'EX package. The passport is required at time of purchase.
- This offer is limited to one Suica & N'EX purchase per person.
- The package includes a N'EX ticket and a Suica smart card.
- For detailed conditions of use, refer to the User’s Guide provided at the time of purchase.
Round trips: The N’EX ticket is valid for round-trip travel between Narita Airport and the Tokyo area. When using N’EX, be sure to use the N’EX ticket, not the Suica card. Scan your Suica at the ticket gate to have the train fare deducted from the total on the Suica card.
One-way trips: The N’EX ticket is good for a single one-way trip from Narita Airport. Be sure to use this, not the Suica card for the initial trip from Narita Airport. Scan your Suica at the ticket gate to have the train fare deducted from the total on the Suica card.
