A stroll in Tome's castle town and Miyagi Meiji Village
Tome, located in Miyagi Prefecture, retains an air of the Meiji Period. The town has preserved samurai homes from the daimyo period, as well as Western-style architecture from the Meiji Period, and a stroll through the Teraike district is pleasant, particularly when the famous cherry blossoms are in bloom.
