The N'EX TOKYO Round Trip Ticket provides great savings for round-trip travel in Ordinary Car reserved seats on the Narita Express, operating between Narita Airport Terminals 1 and 2·3, and major stations in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

1. Ride at a discounted rate

Purchase tickets at lower than the normal rates!

When traveling from Narita Airport Terminals 1 or 2・3 and Tokyo Station (in an Ordinary Car reserved seat)...

2. Provides easy access with no transfers!

The N'EX provides access from Narita Airport to major stations in the Tokyo metropolitan area, including Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro and Yokohama without transferring trains!(*)

All seats are equipped with a large tray and an outlet for laptops. Each car also has a large luggage storage space conveniently located with dial locks.

  • After boarding the N'EX, passengers may transfer to another JR East train (excluding limited express trains) to any JR East station within the designated Tokyo train area. After exiting a ticket gate, the ticket cannot be used for re-entry.

Where to purchase

N'EX TOKYO Round Trip Tickets can be purchased from the JR EAST Travel Service Centers and from JR Ticket Offices (Midori-no-madoguchi) at Narita Airport Terminals 1 and 2·3.

As purchase is not available outside of Japan, we recommend buying the ticket immediately after arrival at Narita Airport.

  • Purchase and use are available only for holders of non-Japanese passports.
    Passport confirmation is required at the time of purchase.
  • Multiple tickets can be purchased as long as the valid periods do not overlap.

Precautions for use

  • Seating is reserved on all cars of the N'EX.
    Seats and travel intervals can be reserved in advance.
    Reserve your seat when purchasing a N'EX TOKYO Round Trip Ticket or before riding on the N'EX.
    Passengers without a seat reservation may take unoccupied seats on the train. If a passenger arrives with a reserved ticket for your seat, please yield your seat.
  • Purchases are generally limited to one ticket per person, though multiple tickets can be purchased as long as the valid periods do not overlap.

Refunds

  • If desired, refunds are available at sales locations. The ticket must be unused and the use period still valid on the day the refund is made. There is a surcharge for refunds.
  • Refunds will be made in cases where the train is out of service or delayed. Refunds can also be made at the destination station and other locations.
  • No partial refunds will be made for full trains with no available seats.
