What is it?
The Holiday Pass allows unlimited rides on local and rapid JR East trains (excluding reserved seats), on the Rinkai Line (TWR) and on the Tokyo Monorail within the designated open seating zone in and around Tokyo. What a great way to stretch your legs and take a day trip.
Terms of Use
- The Holiday Pass is valid for: one day
- The Holiday Pass may be used on a Saturday, Sunday or any day during the following periods: April 29 to May 5, July 20 to August 31, December 29 to January 3
Valid Train Routes
- The Holiday Pass may be used for unlimited rides on local and rapid JR East trains (excluding reserved seats) , on the Rinkai Line (TWR) and on the Tokyo Monorail within the designated open seating zone in and around Tokyo.
- The Holiday Pass is a discounted fare. In combination with a Super (Limited) Express Seat Ticket, the Holiday Pass may be used for travel on the Shinkansens and express trains, including Green Cars, within the designated open seating zone.
- The Holiday Pass is not valid for the Tokaido Shinkansen as that is operated by a different rail company.

Where to Purchase
- The Holiday Pass can be purchased can be purchased at JR Ticket Offices (Midori-no Madoguchi) and at Travel Service Centers (View Plaza) in most major Tokyo stations within the designated open seating zone.
- Purchases may be made up to one month in advance of the first valid date of the pass.

Refunds
- Refunds can be obtained for unused, valid passes from any location where the ticket is sold. Refunds are available only for passes purchased from JR East.
- Refunds are not made for canceled or delayed train service.
