If you are planning a weekend excursion during your stay in Tokyo, this is for you.
It offers unlimited travel for a consecutive Saturday and Sunday on all JR East lines in Ordinary Cars´ non-reserved seats, including Shinkansen super express trains, inside the "free area" on the left, which includes such tourist sites as Niigata, Yamagata, Sendai and Nagano.
The ticket can be purchased at any JR East Midori-no-madoguchi (Reservation Ticket Office) and View Plaza (Travel Service Center) inside the "free area" on the left.

- Reserved seats can be used up to 4 times free of charge.
- Additional charges must be paid if you are to use private compartments, sleeping cars, "Liner" trains, or "Home Liner" trains.
- The ticket is not valid for the Tokaido Shinkansen, which is a JR Tokai line, not JR East.
