Off to the Snow Resort at GALA Yuzawa!
GALA Yuzawa is a ski resort with lots of facilities and easy access to the Joetsu Shinkansen via Gala Yuzawa Station. The trip from Tokyo can be made in as 77 minutes. Guests from outside of Japan will find skiing and snowboarding a real treat, especially when combined with special winter plans from JR East.
The Snow Play Set with Gondola Ticket is available only to JR East Pass holders. Even for those who are seeing snow for the first time, a JR East Pass is a pleasant and easy way to have fun in the snow.
The GALA 1-day Ticket is a package deal that includes round-trip passage on the Shinkansen between Tokyo and GALA Yuzawa, a lift ticket and discount on ski equipment rental.
