| We are conducting R&D on further improving the convenience of ticketing
systems such as Suica card(prepaid e-money card), automatic ticket
gates, and ticket vending machines. Our goal is a ticketing system
befitting next-generation stations. We intend to accomplish that through
efforts such as development for Suica cards with displays that can
show information including fare balance and history of use, and basic
research on automatic ticket gates that passengers can go through without
touching a Suica card to the reader. |
