Welcome to Japan
With the international developments at Haneda Airport, a new JR EAST Travel Service Center is opening at Haneda Airport International Terminal Station on October 21, 2010. The station is located on the Tokyo Monorail line. The staff provides information in English about tickets for travelers during their stay in Japan. They also provide assistance with JR East's extensive transportation network serving the Tokyo area and northern Honshu including the Shinkansen bullet trains and express trains. You can redeem your Exchange Orders for JR EAST PASSES and Japan Rail Passes, purchase JR EAST PASSES at the JR EAST Travel Service Center, your Gateway to Japan.
Once you pass through the ticket gate next to the Center, central Tokyo and Hamamatsucho Station are as close as 14 minutes away on the Tokyo Monorail. From Hamamatsucho, travelers can ride the Yamanote Line, through which they can access many other JR East lines.
At other times, you can redeem your Exchange Orders for JR EAST PASSES and Japan Rail Passes as well as purchase JR EAST PASSES at nearby JR Ticket Offices (Midori-no-Madoguchi) located at JR stations.
