Barrier-free information
JR East strives to offer a rider-friendly and comfortable railway experience.
We at JR East are constantly working towards creating a safe and comfortable railway for all customers. Expanding barrier-free services is one part of this process. Japan is experiencing a growing number of tourists from overseas, an increasing number of people with disabilities participating in society, and a progressively elderly population. JR East is going to great efforts to increase the usability and comfort of railway facilities and services.
| * | This page primarily describes barrier-free facilities. JR East is also expanding its facilities beyond what is shown here. |
